Jennifer is originally from Oil City, Pa. She attended undergrad at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, and then received her PharmD from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation in 2005, she practiced as a retail pharmacy manager and enjoyed precepting students and patient-centered responsibilities such as Medication Therapy Management. This inspired her to pursue a pharmacy residency. She looks forward to stepping outside of her comfort zone, developing a strong foundation of hospital pharmacist skills, and a greater understanding of the clinical aspect of pharmacy. She hopes to utilize these skills to obtain a position within a physician’s office and become board certified in ambulatory care. Her interests include nephrology, research, and teaching. Outside of professional and educational responsibilities, she also has a very active personal and family life. She enjoys many aspects of fitness (running, yoga, piyo, HIIT). She also enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her husband, 2 boys, and 2 dogs.
