I am a Master's Thesis graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Program. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In my undergraduate career, I was a computational research student working to create an efficient mathematical model of volume and serum creatinine concentrations to improve acute kidney injury diagnosis in patients. I also worked as a Quality Engineer at a medical device company, Alcon, where I gained skills in a cGMP manufacturing environment including experience with the validation process and change controls. Currently in graduate school, I completing my thesis where I am doing research on microcalcifications in breast cancer under Dr. Shilpa Sant in the School of Pharmacy.
