Yin completed her B.S. degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington, Seattle. She began her PhD studies in Pharmacology at University of Pittsburgh in 2021. Her research focuses on drug-induced liver injury associated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) chemotherapy, specifically focusing on Peg-asparaginase. The aim of the research is to identify therapeutic strategies that can mitigate asparaginase exposure to adult ALL patients and improve their survival rates.
