Program: PhD
Track: Medicinal Chemistry
Advisor: Peter Wipf, PhD

I completed my BS in Biochemistry with a minor in Molecular biology at Miami University in Ohio in 2011 while carrying out undergraduate research for Dr. Benjamin Gung in organic and physical chemistry. After completing undergraduate studies I joined Dr. Peter Wipf's lab in the Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences departments at the University of Pittsburgh. While working in Dr. Wipf's lab I worked on several, primarily medicinal chemistry, projects with focus on developing small molecule inhibitors for cancer relevant targets.

My research is focused on the synthesis of small molecules for use in the inhibition of the AAA ATPase p97
