Madeline completed her B.S. in Microbiology from Michigan State University and her PharmD from the University of Michigan. After completing a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Michigan, Madeline began her PhD studies in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences at Pitt in 2019. Her research focuses on the infant immune response to RSV following maternal immunization, and how the mucosal immune system contributes to protection as well as disease pathology.

Research Interest

I am interested in the study of the tissue resident T cell (TRM) response to RSV infection and how the presence of maternal antibodies at primary RSV infection affects subsequent TRM establishment.
