Reason for attending
In pharmacy school I spent a lot of my time at a free clinic volunteering for the vaccine clinics and patient appointments and eventually became the Student Pharmacy Coordinator. I always knew I wanted to establish my pharmacy career in the ambulatory care setting where I could also continue serving underserved/uninsured populations. I wanted a program that would allow me to continue doing this and provide opportunities not only in the US community but other parts of the world.
