Kate is an Associate Instructional Designer for all PERU projects let by Dr. Pringle. In this role, she focuses on developing interactive e-learning modules, audiovisual materials, trainings, supporting any design needs, and managing PERU's internal Learning Management System (LMS). Kate joined PERU in 2018 as a Program Implementation Specialist with Community Health Initiatives and transitioned her focus to instructional design in 2020. Before joining Pitt, Kate educated college students and families on health insurance and facilitated access to LGBTQ+ resources in Portland, Oregon. Kate can usually be found drinking a single origin coffee with her cats Ira and Miso.
