Reason for attending
My APPE rotation at UPMC Mercy was so amazing that I wanted to return! I had a lot of autonomy even as a student and was given the opportunity to make interventions and present educational updates to the medicine team. Everyone in the department I interacted with during my APPE was so kind. Mercy was the community hospital pharmacy feel with the acute care exposure I was looking for.
