Team members of PittPharmacy's Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice Center (CLIP) led by Professor Kim Coley,PharmD, FCCP, Senior Program Manager Joni Carroll, PharmD, BCACP and Associate Dean for Community Partnerships Melissa McGivney,PharmD, FCCP, FAPhA, received a Eugene Washington Engagement Award from the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to evaluate how patients and their community pharmacist providers can be actively and effectively engaged in patient-centered outcomes research.
During this 2-year award, the project team will work with community stakeholders to conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups across Pennsylvania. The long-term goal is to build infrastructure for the development of a statewide community pharmacy practice-based research network.
