
Sandra Kane-Gill, PharmD, MS, FCCM, FCCP was a member of the steering committee, co-leading the group on nephrotoxins, for the Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) Clinical Controversies Conference on Acute Kidney Injury. KDIGO is a global non-profit organization, with a mission "to improve the care and outcomes of patients with kidney disease worldwide through the development and implementation of global clinical practice guidelines."
The KDIGO Conference was held April 25-28, 2019 in Rome, Italy. The results of the Conference, Controversies in acute kidney injury: conclusions from a Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) Conference were published in Kidney International.
