Sandra Kane-Gill, PharmD, MS, FCCM, FCCP is President-Elect of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), the largest non-profit medical organization dedicated to promoting excellence and consistency in the practice of critical care. Dr. Kane-Gill will be the second pharmacist to ever have this position. SCCM is the largest interprofessional healthcare organization in the world, having members in more than 100 countries and representing all professionals caring for patients with critical illness.
The organization is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Dr. Kane-Gill has held numerous leadership positions throughout her career and also serves as the Co Vice-Chair of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign.
