State Representative Seth Grove (R-York) visited the University of Pittsburgh on August 28, 2013 to discuss his proposed House Bill 776, which would give pharmacists the green light to immunize adolescents in Pennsylvania. Dean Patricia Kroboth, Assistant Dean for Community Partnership Melissa Somma McGivney, and current PharmD students attended the media event and shared their support.
Alumnus Tim Davis '00 also spoke in support of the legislation from the perspective of a community pharmacist and business owner.
