Several Pitt Pharmacy graduate students will spend their summer engaging in various opportunities to expand upon their research skills.
Dr. Andrew Haddad, a 2021 graduate of the PharmD program at Pitt and a current Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD student working in the laboratory of Dr. Philip Empey, will be completing an internship at Takeda as a quantitative clinical pharmacology intern within the gastroenterology department. He will be mentored by Pitt PhD alumni (2019) Alex Prokopienko.
Dr. Madeline Lipp, PharmD, is completing a micro-internship with the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship here at Pitt.
Zhongfang Zhang, a 2021 graduate of Master of Sciences at the school of Pharmacy and a current Pharmaceutics PhD student working in the laboratory of Dr. Lisa Rohan, will be completing an internship at Bristol Myers Squibb as a clinical pharmacology intern within the Neuroscience department.
