PittPharmacy Faculty Huryn Serves as Panelist for ACS Women in Academia

Donna Huryn, PhD recently served as a webinar panelist discussing Women in Drug Discovery and Development: How to Succeed as a Female in Academia and Industry sponsored by American Chemical Society. Huryn was joined by other women in the sciences to discuss topics as:
  • Insight and real life experiences from successful females in drug discovery and development from academia to industry
  • A day in the life of each panel member highlighting their roles and responsibilities in their specific functions
  • The technical and soft skills ideal for each panelist's position within drug discovery and development
Huryn is a research professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
