Pringle Receives Grant for Opioid Response Program

PittPharmacy Professor Janice L. Pringle, PhD received a grant from One Care of Southwest Virginia for her study titled "Rural Communities Opioid Response Program - Planning." The prime sponsor is Health Resources & Services Administration. The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy's Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU) will provide Technical Assistance to the Commonwealth of Virginia to develop and strengthen collaboration in Virginia, conduct detailed analysis, develop a comprehensive strategic plan, and complete a sustainability plan utilizing an effective model that it implements in Pennsylvania through the Pennsylvania Opioid Overdose Reduction Technical Assistance Center.
