Congratulations to Dr. Christine Ruby-Scelsi on being named the 2024 Geriatrics Teacher of the Year! This annual award, from the Pennsylvania Geriatric Society, honors both a physician and a healthcare professional who have made significant contributions to the education and training of learners in geriatrics and to the progress of geriatrics education across the health professions.
Dr. Christine M. Ruby-Scelsi is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Division of Geriatric Medicine, Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine. She is also a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Geriatrics with an active practice at the Senior Care Institute, a hospital-based ambulatory clinic located at UPMC-Shadyside.
