A team of School of Pharmacy investigators led by James Coons, Philip Empey, and Susan Skledar were the recipients of a $25,000 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Research and Education Foundation (ASHP Foundation) Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative (PPMI) Demonstration Grant. Their project proposal entitled, “Pharmacist-Delivered Pharmacogenomic Care,” will focus on the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics for patients that receive clopidogrel for percutaneous coronary intervention.
