Pamela Smithburger, PharmD, MS, BCPS, BCCCP, FCCP, FCCM was chosen by the ACCP Critical Care PRN to receive the 2024 Critical Care PRN Education Award. This award is given to a pharmacist who has demonstrated excellence in the classroom or clinical training site, conducted innovative research in clinical pharmacy education, demonstrated exceptional dedication to clinical pharmacist continuing professional development, and/or shown leadership in the development of clinical pharmacy education programs.
Smithburger is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, and program director for the Critical Care Residency.
