Former University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy students have been recognized for a decade of exemplary work in their field.
Dr. Desiree Kosmisky has been named a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (ACCM), and Anastasia Sidor, PharmD, BCGP, FASCP was named a 2022 Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP).
Dr. Kosmisky is a 2013 graduate of Pitt Pharmacy. She works as a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist at Atrium Health Cabarrus and Atrium Health Virtual Critical Care in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Kosmisky specializes in providing innovative tele-critical care pharmacy services.
Dr. Sidor is a 2012 graduate of Pitt Pharmacy and works as the Consultant Pharmacist Director at Brockie Pharmatech. She also serves as a Pitt Pharmacy preceptor for students on Elective Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations.
ACCM fellows are recognized for their significant contributions to critical care. The organization honors individuals whose achievements and contributions demonstrate superb personal commitment to the advancement of the field.
The ASCP bestows fellowship status upon select active members who excel in pharmacy leadership, practice and education, as demonstrated by their sustained involvement with and contributions to ASCP, and the ASCP Foundation, on state and national levels. The members’ involvement with other professional pharmacy and health-related organizations and professional pharmacy accomplishments is also considered.
