Wen Xie Featured Speaker at Distinguished Conferences

PittPharmacy_WenXie_0166Professor Wen Xie, MD, PhD, chaired a symposium at the 2016 International Microsomes and Drug Oxidations (MDO) Meeting at the University of California at Davis, October 2016.  The title of this symposium was "Disease Effect on Drug Metabolism and Disposition." Xie also delivered a lecture titled “Regulation of Estrogen Sulfotransferase by Systemic and Local Liver Injuries” at the same conference. Xie was also an invited seminar speaker at the Penn State University for the Bortree Seminar Series. The Bortree Seminar Series is designed to provide a vital inspirational link between the greater world of research and the Penn State University Park faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students and staff. The title of Xie’s presentation was “Disease Effect on Liver Metabolism.” Wen Xie is a professor of pharmaceutical sciences, the Joseph Koslow Endowed Chair in Pharmaceutical Science, and director of the Center for Pharmacogenetics.
