Dustin Walsh

Assistant Professor

Dr. Dustin R. Walsh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He received both his Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences (MS) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Walsh serves on the Code of Conduct Committee and both the PharmD and PhD/MS Curriculum Committees and is the current Chair of the Graduate Program Curriculum Committee. He coordinates Dosage Form Design & Drug Delivery and Principles of Drug Action; the first two courses in the Pharmaceutical Sciences series. His lectures focus on basic and clinical pharmacology with an emphasis on pharmacokinetics. In addition, he coordinates Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the School of Dental Medicine as well as Principles of Drug Development; an Honors-level undergraduate course. Beyond pharmacy education, Dr. Walsh’s interests converge at the intersection of nephropharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and drug dosing in patients with chronic kidney disease.
