Practice Interests
I am interested in helping patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart failure. I am passionate about improving transitions of care, and helping patients afford medications. I look forward to precepting pharmacy students while I am a resident.
Research / Project
Evaluation of the current panel size for an embedded pharmacist within a primary care practice at UPMC.

Outside Interests
I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time outside (especially skiing), and spending quality time with my friends and family.
Reason for attending
I selected this program because of the focus on ambulatory care while also providing rotations throughout the hospital. The Faculty Development Fellowship was another aspect of this residency that really interested me. This interprofessional learning experience has already had a tremendous impact on the way I communicate effectively as a pharmacy educator.
