Kelli is a Pittsburgh-area native, born and raised in the North Hills. She attended American University in Washington, DC, graduating with a degree in Communications and Literature. Kelli began her career as a middle school Reading and Language Arts teacher before transitioning to an administrative staff role. Kelli spent ten years leading the enrollment and recruitment program at KIPP DC, the largest charter school network in the District of Columbia. She returned to Pittsburgh with her family in the summer of 2023 and joined the University shortly after. In her free time, Kelli enjoys reading, searching for the perfect coffee shop, trying out different creative hobbies, and playing with her two young kids.
