LaWanda A. Brown, PhD, is a Senior Program Implementation Specialist within the Innovative Health System Initiatives (IHSI) team. Dr. Brown specializes in program implementation and policy research. Prior to joining Pitt, LaWanda worked in Clark County, Nevada providing advocacy and program leadership for the District Attorney’s office and 8th Judicial District Court. She brings more than 15 years of experience in public health and public policy, including work with the Illinois Bureau of Comprehensive Health as an Executive II.
