Martha Ndung'u

Assistant Professor

She is a proud Pitt alumna who obtained her Doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh with an area of concentration in global health. She went on to complete a primary care residency at the LifeLong federally qualified health care center in Oakland, CA through Touro University and obtained her teaching certificate. She then moved into academia and taught practical and case-based courses at the University of Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and precepted at the student-run Clincia Tepati in Sacramento, CA.

She rejoins Pitt excited to work with students, patients and faculty to close health disparity gaps in underserved communities locally, nationally and globally. She is a co-director of the Area of Concentration in Global Health at the School of Pharmacy and is a site coordinator of the PGY2 in Global Health at the Birmingham Clinic
