Reason for attending
As a first generation immigrant myself, I have a strong interest in working with the underserved population. An APPE rotation that I had with one of the previous Global Health residents was a very memorable one, and I wanted to continue improving health outcomes for people who experience barriers to healthcare. I’m also very excited for the international rotation opportunities offered through my program.
