Dr. Capozzolo currently serves as a clinician for the University of Pittsburgh Comprehensive Medication Management employee benefit program, consulting with faculty and staff to improve medication and health outcomes, reduce pill burden and side effects and lower costs. She has worked to shape the benefit to include multiple specialized services including tobacco cessation, pre-travel health consultation and health education programs such as the Group Lifestyle Balance Diabetes Prevention Program.
Dr. Capozzolo received her PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2013. Prior to rejoining the University in her current role, Dr. Capozzolo served as a Pharmacist in Charge at CVS/Pharmacy in Myrtle Beach, SC and later, in Pittsburgh, PA. She then transitioned to a clinical role in telephonic Medication Therapy Management services for CVS Caremark. Dr. Capozzolo is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP).
