Education & Training
Practice Interests
My primary pharmacy interest includes supporting the implementation of patient care services into community pharmacies and evaluating the outcomes of these interventions.
Research / Project
To evaluate the impact of pharmacist-provided patient care services as part of a Medicaid Managed Care Organization payer contract on metrics including medication adherence, naloxone dispensing, and COVID-19 vaccination gap closure.
Hometown
Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Outside Interests
Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, listening to Taylor Swift, and reading on my Kindle. I am also learning how to cook and always looking for new recipes.
Reason for attending
I chose to pursue the Community Leadership and Research Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy because of the opportunity to personalize my fellowship towards my career goals. Specifically, I was interested in focusing on practice-based research led by pharmacists, providing patient care at the Pitt Vaccination and Health Hub, and completing the Mastery of Teaching Certification.
