I am a pharmacy graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from SRM University, India; and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University, India. After 2 years of teaching experience, I joined as a research scholar under Dr. Sandip B. Bharate in the Natural Products & Medicinal Chemistry division of CSIR-IIIM, Jammu and worked extensively on natural product driven drug discovery for Alzheimer's disease and cancer. Further, I have completed my PhD in the faculty of Chemical Sciences by working on the discovery of natural product based multitargeted anti-Alzheimer's agents under the supervision of Dr. Sandip B. Bharate. As a postdoctoral associate in Dr. Journigan's lab I will be working on the design and synthesis of TRPM8 antagonists.
