“I wanted to reach out to the School of Pharmacy to let you know that the P2 students who just completed their rotation with us are FABULOUS students and we were beyond blessed to have them with us for the time that we did. Since we were one of the early COVID19 vaccinators back in the beginning of 2021, we were completely overwhelmed and backed up with paperwork for uninsured patients… There really are no resources with direct guidance for how to bill for those claims. I asked our students to figure out how to bill HRSA for these claims--no small task. Not only did they figure it out on their own, but they also wrote the protocol so that we could continue the process should the funding be replenished…They converted hundreds of paper documents into electronic files that I was able to submit for reimbursement to our county commissioners as part of a grant available for expenses due to COVID19 vaccine clinics… I really wanted to express my gratitude and let the School of Pharmacy know how much we value our students who choose us for their rotations.”
