Nominate an Alumnus/Alumnae

All submitted nominations must be accompanied by:

1. A detailed statement of the nominee’s educational, professional, and university affiliated contributions as well as the reason(s) why you believe the individual deserves special recognition.
2. A detailed biography of the nominee.

All nominations are held in confidence until approved by the AWARDS COMMITTEE NAME. Nominations will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. All nominations will be active for five years.

Examples of Educational Achievements

Include but are not limited to:

• Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
• Educational contributions to the profession of pharmacy
• Status in a teaching institution

Examples of Professional Achievements

Include but are not limited to:

• Professional recognition(s) and awards
• Community or institutional involvement in promoting the profession of pharmacy
• Innovative discoveries that lead to the improvement of patient care and the practice of pharmacy

Examples of University Achievements

Include but are not limited to:

• Involvement in university development programs
• Establishing meaningful roles for alumni volunteers
• Involving alumni in student recruitment mentorship and placement programs
• Fostering public acceptance and support of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in achieving their goals
• Implementing programs of interest for alumni
• Providing opportunities to enhance friendship and camaraderie among alumni
