Welcome to the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy’s Class of 2027!
Class of 2027 (P2 Class) RE-Orientation
Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 9am-12noon
ALL P2 STUDENTS are expected to join us in the Novo Nordisk Learning Center (402 Salk Hall) beginning at 9am through 12noon for a welcome back including learning of new student resources, connecting with colleagues and faculty, updates on new Pitt Pharmacy student policies, and a nod to the history of pharmacy ending with a class social in Salk Hall.
Information on financial aid, tuition, and related fees can be obtained through the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) at 412-624-7488. Please keep in mind the following when completing financial aid forms:
- Professional Year 1 (P1) and Professional Year 2 (P2) of the PharmD curriculum are considered undergraduate level, for those that have not earned a previous Bachelor degree. Even though you are working towards your Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, the University does not yet recognize your status as a graduate. Therefore, you would answer financial aid questions pertaining to college level as third year or junior level working towards a Bachelor Degree.
- Professional Year 3 (P3) and Professional Year 4 (P4) are considered graduate level. Financial aid forms documenting that you are working towards a doctorate and/or graduate/professional degree will be acceptable at that time.
- If you have already earned a Bachelor degree, your college status will be graduate and you would answer financial aid questions as working towards your doctorate.
