Description
Specialty pharmacy is a unique industry where pharmacists work with expensive, complicated, and/or rare medications and disease states and focus on working alongside the patient to provide care. The Student Association of Specialty Pharmacy (SASP) aims to enhance student awareness and knowledge of this growing field, rare diseases, and orphan drugs. Through professional development, education, and networking with specialty pharmacists, students can prepare for careers in specialty pharmacy and gain exposure to the issues facing pharmacy today.
